ISLAMABAD, NOV 8 /DNA/ – There have been several instances reported to NAB Peshawar Office where individuals have received calls from different numbers claiming to be high ranking officers of NAB. All such calls demanding money are fake & phony and seems to be an organized campaign to malign the institution and the management.
It is clarified that the NAB officers do not contact directly as there is a strict Standard Operating Procedure in vogue for communication. NAB has taken up the matter with Cyber Crime Wing, FIA and other intelligence agencies against the culprits.
General Public is informed to be cautious of such calls and immediately report such calls to NAB (KP) PDA Complex Block 3, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar or Phone No. 091-9217095.
