JEDDAH, APR 24 (DNA) — Advisor to the Prime Minister Amir and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Engineer Amir Muqam called on party’s Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday.
During the meeting, the overall political and economic situation of the country came under discussion. A detailed discussion on the party issues related to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also held.
The PML-N Quaid laid stress on the importance of maintaining discipline within the party. Nawaz Sharif felicitated Engineer Amir Muqam on performing Umrah. Amir Muqam also held a one-on-one meeting with Nawaz Sharif with focus on the current political and economic situation of the country, with a specific focus on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Later, PML-N Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz also joined the meeting. Nawaz Sharif, who is also chief of PML-N extended his congratulations to Engineer Amir Muqam for performing Umrah, and stressed the importance of maintaining discipline within the party, while also commending his efforts for the party.
Advisor to the PM expressed his congratulations to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz on their Umrah pilgrimage and praised Nawaz’s leadership for saving the country from terrorism and loadshedding, constructing motorways, and bringing economic stability to the country.
He expressed his confidence that with Allah’s blessings, Pakistan would overcome its current crises. Under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the country will come out of the crises soon, Amir Muqam said. — DNA
