LAHORE, AUG 3: On the directives of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, practical steps have been initiated to improve the country’s immigration system.
New immigration counters have been established at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to facilitate foreign passengers and reduce unnecessary delays during clearance.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the initiative aims to ease the process for foreign travelers, especially investors and business delegations.
The move is also intended to promote tourism, trade, and foreign investment in Pakistan. Returning Pakistani citizens will also experience a smoother immigration process under the new system.
