Peshawar, OCT 15: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi took notice of the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker Sanam Javed shortly after assuming office.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the chief minister summoned the Inspector General of Police to his office and requested a report on the case. He directed the police chief to submit a detailed report by the following day.
Earlier, Sohail Afridi was sworn in as the chief minister during a ceremony held in Peshawar. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi administered the oath.
