Jeddah, Jan 30 (DNA):Ambassador Tarig Ali Bakhit, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Cultural, Family and Social Affairs, received in his office on Thursday, 30 January 2025, a delegation from the Russian Federation led by H.E Olga LYUBIMOVA, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, both sides expressed appreciation for the level of relations between the OIC and the Russian Federation in the area of culture, and exchanged views on the means to promote and enhance collaboration between the OIC General Secretariat and Russian Federation.
The two parties discussed the ways forward to organize different cultural programs and activities in Russia and OIC Headquarters in Jeddah.
The meeting also discussed the great importance that the OIC attaches to cultural cooperation with its Observer States and touched on other issues of mutual interest.
