LONDON, NOV 1 – /DNA/ – A delegation of UK Pakistan Business Council recently called on Pakistan High Commissioner to London Moazzam Ahmad Khan. Minister for Trade and Investment Shafiq Shehzad was also present on the occasion. The meeting discussed ways to make investment in Pakistan secure and efficient. High Commissioner of Pakistan Moazzam Ahmad Khan said that the overseas community should not only make the most of investment opportunities in Pakistan but also ensure business ties and cooperation with each other.
High Commissioner Moazzam Ahmad Khan said that Pakistan High Commission London is always ready for any kind of cooperation with the Pakistani Overseas Business Community based in UK. He further said that the doors of Pakistan High Commission London are always open for the community especially the business community. Pakistan High Commissioner Moazzam Ahmad Khan said that there are many products and items that we all have to work together to promote. And a lot of things can be brought from Pakistan that are not only needed in the UK but also Pakistani products can be better in terms of quality.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan stationed in London during a meeting with the delegation of UK Pakistan Business Council also said that the Governor State Bank of Pakistan and the Government of Pakistan were facilitating Roshan Bank Account for the overseas community. Not only the business community but also the entire overseas community should take full advantage of this facility.
Every Overseas Pakistani residing in UK should open their own account and send money to their relatives in Pakistan through this account. The High Commissioner said that we should all make the most of Roshan Bank account and convince our friends and relatives to open their Roshan account and avail of various facilities.
Talking to the delegation, Minister for Trade and Investment Shafiq Shehzad said that under the leadership of the High Commissioner of Pakistan, we will strive to ensure that not only London but all commercial offices operating under the auspices of Pakistan High Commission London are based in UK Continue full cooperation with the Pakistani community.
