Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), met with Mr. Eduard Bachide, State Secretary of Defence, and General Gheorgiță Vlad, Chief of Defence of Romania, during his official visit to Romania. The high-level meeting focused on enhancing military-to-military cooperation and exploring new avenues of strategic collaboration between the two countries.
During the meeting, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu emphasized that Pakistan greatly values its strong diplomatic and defence relations with Romania, which are rooted in shared perspectives on regional peace and stability. He reaffirmed PAF’s commitment to expanding the scope of bilateral defence cooperation, particularly in the fields of training, joint exercises, and operational synergy.
