Doha, JUL 26 /DNA/ – In a landmark initiative aimed at promoting Pakistan’s investment opportunities and deepening bilateral economic ties with Qatar, the Pak-Qatar Business Expo 2025—organized under the patronage of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI)—was formally inaugurated at the Holiday Inn, Doha.

The two-day high-profile event brings together a dynamic over 70-member delegation from Pakistan, led by ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, and includes senior business executives and marketing heads from top-tier real estate and construction organizations such as DHA Islamabad, DHA Lahore, and DHA Multan.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Nasir Mansoor Qureshi highlighted the Expo as a testament to ICCI’s unwavering commitment to fostering trade expansion, attracting foreign direct investment, and cultivating long-term commercial partnerships with the Gulf states. He described the initiative as a “golden opportunity” for the Pakistani diaspora in Qatar to connect with domestic enterprises and explore productive business collaborations.

“The ICCI is striving to build robust institutional linkages that will pave the way for future joint ventures and sustained economic cooperation between Pakistan and Qatar,” he added.

The event attracted a significant presence of business stakeholders from both Pakistan and Qatar, who lauded ICCI’s efforts in promoting business-to-business (B2B) and people-to-people (P2P) connectivity. The Expo was widely praised as a strategic step toward regional economic integration and private-sector-led development.

Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Senior Vice President ICCI, expressed satisfaction over the joint efforts of ICCI and DHA in staging the event, saying it reflects the collective ambition of Pakistani entrepreneurs, particularly those settled in Qatar.

Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, Vice President ICCI, termed the event a milestone in the history of Pak-Qatar economic relations, noting that the Expo is likely to generate substantial investment leads, facilitate trade deals, and strengthen diplomatic commercial ties.

The Pak-Qatar Business Expo 2025 is expected to catalyze a new chapter of economic diplomacy and business engagement between the two nations.
