Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his sincere thanks to US President Donald Trump for his support in advancing peace and stability in the South Asian region.
In a message shared on the social media platform X, the prime minister stated that Pakistan had made a strategic decision in favour of regional peace and stability. He emphasized that Pakistan values all efforts made to uphold security and cooperation in the region, especially those undertaken by the United States.
“We have made this decision in the interest of lasting peace and stability in the region,” Shehbaz Sharif said. “We appreciate the United States for its positive role in supporting our goals for regional harmony.”
