Pakistan Navy Ship Tughril visits Malaysia, participates in bilateral Naval Drill

ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (DNA): Pakistan Navy Ship TUGHRIL visited Naval Base
Lumut, Malaysia as part of good will visit and flag showing mission.

Upon arrival at port, Pakistan Navy Ship TUGHRIL was received by Defence
Attaché of Pakistan at Kuala Lumpur and senior officials from Royal
Malaysian Navy.

The visit of PNS TUGHRIL included harbour and sea phases. In harbour
phase table top discussions on professional matters and bilateral
interactions were held. Whereas, sea phase included conduct of bilateral
exercise MALPAK in which PNS TUGHRIL along with three Ships and a
Helicopter participated from Royal Malaysian Navy.

Visit of Pakistan Navy Ship to Malaysia provided an opportunity for both
countries to further enhance the existing close diplomatic ties and
cordial relations.

Administrator Karachi, Sindh Government Spokesman and CM Advisor on Law
Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Saturday said that a chair lift will be
installed from Hill Park to Kidney Hill and the work for it will start
in next few weeks.

Paragliding will be started on Kidney Hill so that the citizens of
Karachi can also enjoy this facility, the Administrator said this while
inaugurating Gymkhana, Paragliding and Archery at Naya Nazimabad.

On this occasion, Metropolitan Commissioner Syed Afzal Zaidi, Deputy
Commissioner Central Taha Saleem, Abdul Samad Habib, Secretary Sindh
Olympic Association Ali Ahmed Rajput, Syed Muhammad  and a large number
people were also present.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that Karachi is changing, as its lights are
being restored. Those who come to Karachi next time will see a better
city, adding that chairlift will be a pleasant addition for the
citizens.

Sports activities in the city will be revived, he said, adding that all
sports activities will be sponsored so that the youth have a chance to
show off their talents.

Abdul Samad Habib while addressing said that Naya Nazimabad will be made
a sports city.
