MOSCOW, NOV 19 (DNA): Meeting between Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the SCO-Council of Heads of Government meeting
The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met with Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Mr. Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the SCO-Council of Heads of Government meeting in Moscow today.
Both sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and expressed deep satisfaction at the current positive trajectory of relations. The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister also congratulated his Russian counterpart on the successful holding of the SCO-CHG meeting. Moreover, he noted the vital role of both countries’ leadership and as well as bilateral institutional mechanisms in further strengthening the bilateral relations.
In addition, both leaders exchanged views on wide-ranging regional and international issues. Taking into account the excellent coordination at multilateral fora, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, they pledged to deepen them further in the interest of both countries.
