ISLAMABAD, OCT 26: The trophy for the Pakistan–South Africa Twenty20 series was unveiled in Islamabad ahead of the first match. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha and South Africa captain Donovan Ferreira attended the unveiling ceremony. The opening T20I encounter will take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on October 28 (Tuesday).
At the ceremony, Pakistan’s white-ball head coach Mike Hesson said that Babar Azam has been included in the T20 squad and will bat at number three. He added that Usman Khan plays well against spinners and will be given a chance in the T20I series.
Hesson termed Usman Tariq as a talented spin bowler and said that Fakhar Zaman, who is part of the ODI squad, will need to continue working in first-class cricket.
