Pakistan stands united to honour armed forces: Tarar

LAHORE, MAY 18: Information Minister Atta Tarar said on Sunday that the nation had united to pay tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces. Addressing an event in Lahore, the prime minister had responded under the leadership of the Army Chief in such a way that the world would always remember it. “The entire nation, social media users, and the media remained grateful. PM Shehbaz worked day and night with dedication. When the Fatah missile was fired, panic spread across India. The Pakistan Air Force shot down six aircraft of the cowardly enemy,” said Tarar.

He said: “Our forces repelled the enemy’s attack. They destroyed the enemy’s brigade headquarters. Then the enemy was forced to wave white flags. The enemy had not realised which nation it was confronting.”

“Tributes also went to the martyrs and their families. Our armed forces played a role that would always be remembered. The prime minister rightly said that the revenge for 1971 had been taken,” said Tarar.

“The COAS foiled the enemy’s evil intentions. The enemy had claimed to hold numerical superiority. By the grace of Almighty Allah, the enemy suffered a clear defeat. The prime minister and the Foreign Minister handled the diplomatic front,” he said.

Tarar said: “Young people also fought the case on social media, which remained commendable. The whole nation countered India’s false propaganda on social media. In the information domain, Pakistan continued to counter India day and night.”

“The spokesperson of the Indian Army confirmed that Pakistan had targeted 26 locations. She said that India did not want war, and at that moment, the world realised that Pakistan had already won,” he said.

Tarar maintained: “During Nawaz Sharif’s tenure, six nuclear tests were conducted. During Shehbaz Sharif’s tenure, the number of enemy aircraft shot down also reached six. We always stood for peace and desired peace.”
