Pakistan, Tajikistan aim to boost trade to $500m

ISLAMABAD, DEC 20 (DNA): Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, Saturday, called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar.

The ambassador thanked the DPM/FM for his support in organizing the first Tajik Culture Week in Pakistan, Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.

Conveying Pakistan’s strong desire to enhance Pakistani multi-faceted bilateral relations with Tajikistan, the DPM/FM said that he looked forward to a number of high level engagements with Tajikistan in 2026 and underscored the need to develop close cooperation between the private sectors of the two nations to enhance Pakistan-Tajikistan bilateral trade to US$500 million.=DNA
