ISLAMABAD, AUG 10: Pakistan and Türkiye have voiced deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, urging the global community to take immediate action to stop the suffering and uphold international law.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke by phone with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan to review bilateral ties and discuss pressing regional and global developments.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, both leaders expressed alarm over the situation in Gaza, condemning what Dar described as Israel’s attempt to complete military occupation — a move he called a “clear violation” of UN Security Council resolutions and international law.
Call for urgent humanitarian measures
The two ministers emphasized the urgent need for uninterrupted humanitarian aid to reach Gaza’s civilian population. Dar criticized the ongoing “exceptionalism” in Israeli operations, stressing that the blockade and military actions must end.
Pakistan and Türkiye reaffirmed their close coordination on the Gaza crisis, pledging to keep pressing the international community for immediate steps to address the humanitarian catastrophe.
