Senator Dar highlighted Pakistan’s continued role in facilitating engagement between parties and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as the key path to the peaceful resolution of disputes.
British High Commissioner Jane Marriott appreciated Pakistan’s facilitative efforts and expressed support for its role in bringing the United States and Iran to the negotiating table. She conveyed appreciation from the UK side for Pakistan’s contributions toward de-escalation and lasting peace in the region.
