ISLAMABAD: MAY 8 (DNA):Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, met with Senator Pervaiz Rashid at the minister’s office. During the meeting, a detailed discussion took place regarding the Pakistan-India tensions. On this occasion, Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain condemned the cowardly act of India attacking a mosque in Muridke under the cover of darkness. He stated that the Pakistan Army responded promptly and gave a befitting reply. He made it clear that if India attempts any mischief in the future, Pakistan will respond in a way that the world will remember.
The Federal Minister expressed pride in the armed forces and emphasized that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness. He asserted that Pakistan reserves the right to defend itself and will ensure the protection of its borders under all circumstances. He further stated that, in this challenging time, the entire nation stands with the Pakistan Army, and both the political and military leadership are on the same page. Rana Tanveer Hussain reaffirmed that there would be no compromise on national defense, and every possible measure will be taken to safeguard the borders.
Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the nation takes pride in the bravery and defense capabilities of the Pakistan Army, and any act of aggression by the enemy will be met with a robust response. He urged the international community to take notice of India’s cowardly actions. During the meeting, various aspects related to national security and defense were also discussed.
