ATTOCK, NOV 17 /DNA/ – Scores of Pakistan-origin Indian families have demanded of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Tanvir Kakkar for his personal intervention  on the  agonized circumstances  being faced by them despite  strolling from pillar to post to get their nationality renewed through NDRA at Pakistani high Commission in New Delhi for want of  some procedural formalities  since long.

This was told by a senior Pakistani journalist chief patron Attock Press Club (Regd) Syed Raza Naqvi while talking to media here on Friday. While, narrating the real picture of the situation, he said that the wed locked spouses of Pakistan residing at far flung territories of India have to visit the Pakistani high commission in New Dehli for renewal of their national identity cards, passports and visas but they are being forced by the relevant desk of NDRA to get routed their documents from Pakistan instead of resolving their genuine problems at their own level at New Dehli.

The senior journalist  Syed Raza Naqvi further said that the Pakistan nationality holders senior  ladies  have become rolling stone for projection of their constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights who got married with their Indian spouses. They have also proposed to renew their documents on payment of enhanced fees instead of wasting their resources and energy on leveling unnecessary objections raised  by the officials posted at the counter.

The concerned officials at Pakistani high commission New Dehli were also requested from time to time but they seemed reluctant under one pretext or the other.  Responding different questions, Syed Raza Naqvi said that the grant of nationality is now a burning issue between the two countries India and Pakistan even for the last 76 years which is required to be resolved through bilateral corridors of powers, he added.
