ISLAMABAD, AUG 11: Pakistani entertainment industry heavyweights Humayun Saeed and Mohsin Abbas Haider are calling for a biopic on Arshad Nadeem, the athlete who made Pakistan proud by winning a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Arshad Nadeem, who hails from Mian Channu, Punjab, became a national hero when he threw an incredible 92.97 meters in the javelin event, breaking records and ending a 40-year Olympic gold medal drought for Pakistan. His victory has not only placed him in the international spotlight but has also filled the entire nation with pride.
Humayun Saeed, during a TV interview, expressed his excitement about the idea and said he would love to produce a based on Arshad’s life story.
On the other hand, Mohsin Abbas Haider took to his social media, urging to create a biopic on Arshad Nadeem.
He even expressed his desire to play the role of Arshad if such a project comes to life.

Let’s not forget, Pakistan’s last Olympic medal was a bronze in hockey in 1992, and the previous gold was also in hockey back in 1984.
