ANKARA: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
During the cordial meeting, both sides reaffirmed their strong commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in multiple sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on advancing collaboration in education and supporting the welfare of the Pakistani diaspora in the TRNC.
The two Foreign Ministers agreed to maintain close engagement and continue joint efforts aimed at promoting the mutual interests and well-being of both peoples.
Senator Dar, who is leading Pakistan’s delegation at the Forum, highlighted the importance of such interactions in furthering Pakistan’s principled foreign policy and deepening ties with friendly nations.
This meeting underscores the growing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and the TRNC, building on longstanding fraternal relations with Türkiye and shared objectives in regional and multilateral forums.
