Peshawar board announces matric results 2025 - check here

Peshawar, JUL 28: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar on Monday announced the results of the matriculation annual examinations 2025, with an overall pass percentage of 83.5%.

Out of 91,589 students who appeared, 76,484 successfully passed the exams, while 14,530 could not clear them.

This year’s results were marked by exceptional performances from female students, who dominated the science group, particularly from Peshawar Model School Girls Branch 2, where the top three positions were claimed by students of the same institution.

Fatimah Jugnu secured the first position overall in the Matric Science Group with 1,180 marks, followed by Sara Imran with 1,178 marks, and a tie for third place between Shumaila and Aina Shoaib, both scoring 1,176 marks. Aina is a student of Peshawar Model School Girls Branch Dalazak Road.

Arts group: Story of grit and inspiration
In the Arts Group, Azam Jan of Government Higher Secondary School Sherpao, Charsadda, clinched the top spot with 1,101 marks.

The second and third positions were secured by students of Madrassa Jamia Osmania. Notably, Muhammad Shoaib of Osmania Children’s Academy, associated with Osmania University, earned the second position with 1,097 marks.

Muhammad Shoaib’s journey is a heartening example of how hard work, parental sacrifice, and dedication can overcome economic limitations. The son of a gardener, Shoaib is pursuing both religious and contemporary education and aspires to join the civil service by passing the CSS exams.

Speaking to the media, Shoaib credited his success to his parents’ sacrifices, his teachers’ mentorship, and his own perseverance. “My father supported my education even in the most difficult circumstances. I want to serve my country by becoming a civil servant,” Shoaib said.

Daniyal Iqbal, also from Osmania Children’s Academy, secured the third position in the Arts Group with 1,088 marks.
