plane, carrying passengers to evacuate Pakistanis and foreigners from
Afghanistan, has arrived in Islamabad on Sunday.

According to a statement issued by the PIA spokesman, the two planes
were fully ready for flight when the flights were suspended due to

Earlier, the PIA two aircrafts that had been stuck at Kabul airport with
a total of 499 passengers on board, have been permitted to fly and are

According to PIA, three flights will be operated between Islamabad and

Earlier today, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan
had tweeted that the embassy is “engaged with PIA to accomodate
Pakistanis on regular and additional flights”.

“We are also assisting those who have issue of affordability. Contact
