 LAHORE: The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) has greeted its leader Zafar Mehmood Chaudhry on becoming the Acting President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)PIAF patron-in-chief and SAARC Chamber Vice President Mian Anjum Nisar, FPCCI President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, PIAF Chairman Fahimur Rahman Saigol, Senior Vice Chairman Nasrullah Mughal, Vice Chairman Tahir Manzoor Chaudhary, former chairmen Muhammad Ali Mian, Mian Abu Zar Shad, and other officials of PIAF have congratulated Zafar Chaudhry who was earlier working as senior vice president of the LCCI.In a message, the PIAF leadership said that Zafar Mahmood Chaudhry is a senior and experienced industrialist and has been serving as the convenor of various committees in Lahore Chamber, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry and various associations.PIAF Chairman Fahimur Rahman Saigol said that Zafar Mehmood is fully aware of the problems of the business community and has full capacity to solve them and we hope that he will continue to raise his voice for the problems of the business community like in the past.He hoped that the Acting President would push the government to initiate long-term economic planning for the betterment of the business community of Pakistan, as they have the ability to change the fate of Pakistan and transform it into a prosperous country. He suggested that LCCI should be strengthened to enhance the role of the private sector in the country’s economic development.
