PIMPD officers visit CDA HQ to study Islamabad's development projects

ISLAMABAD, MAY 6: /DNA/ – Officers under training from the Punjab Institute of Management and Professional Development (PIMPD) Government of Punjab, along with senior instructors and directing staff, visited the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters for an study visit to have insight about the excellent performance of CDA especially development projects in the Federal Capital.

On this occasion, Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa along with Member Admin, Member Finance, Member Planning, DG Urban Planning and other senior officers, welcomed the guests upon their arrival at the CDA Headquarters.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa while addressing the trainee officers and representatives, stated that for the progress of the country, we all must work together as a united team. He emphasized that providing the best facilities and services to citizens is among our top priorities, for which special attention must be given to out of box solutions including joint ventures and public-private partnerships as a critical need of the hour. He also stressed the importance of exploring new and innovative ways and means to enhance revenue streams for government institutions.

During the visit, the trainee officers were briefed on CDA’s ongoing efforts, the public service delivery system and the development projects underway in the Islamabad city. All trainee officers appreciated Chairman CDA’s efforts for the city’s development, beautification and modernization.

In his remarks, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhwa expressed his good wishes for the future of the new trainee officers saying, well trained and skilled officers are the nation’s true asset, as they will be playing leading roles in various departments. They are not only the architects of the future but can also play a pivotal role in national development through their professionalism, dedication and hard work.

The instructors and trainee officers praised the CDA’s projects and initiatives stating that the measures taken by Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa and his team to improve civic facilities and service delivery for the residents of Islamabad are commendable.

At the end of the meeting, the guests thanked Chairman CDA and his team, followed by a group photo that the trainees will keep as a cherished memento.
