ISLAMABAD, Apr 13 (DNA): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday congratulated Peter Magyar after he obtained a landmark victory in the parliamentary elections in Hungary.
“I congratulate H.E. Peter Magyar on his victory in the Parliamentary elections in Hungary,” the prime minister wrote on his X timeline.
He said that Pakistan valued its bilateral relations with Hungary, and that his government looked forward to further strengthening them.
The Tisza party, led by Peter Magyar, is projected to win a supermajority in Hungary’s parliament after a record voter turnout, with the vote count still underway. Nationalist Viktor Orban, who has ruled the country for 16 years, conceded defeat.
