ISLAMABAD: On the instructions of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, ceremonies were held across the country to celebrate the historic Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defense agreement. The central ceremony took place at the Muslim League House in Islamabad, where party leaders, members, and workers gathered. The events began with special prayers for the security of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah, followed by cake-cutting ceremonies.

Speaking at the central ceremony, Secretary General Tariq Hassan, Member of the National Assembly Mrs. Farrukh Khan, Central Information Secretary Mustafa Malik, Additional Secretary Information Anila Ayaz, and PML-Q Federal Capital President Rizwan Sadiq highlighted the significance of the pact. They stated that the Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement is not merely a formal document but a milestone of Islamic brotherhood, trust, and mutual cooperation.

Member of the National Assembly Ms.Farrukh Khan said that the protection of Haramain Sharifain is a sacred duty, adding that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has always raised his voice for the Muslim Ummah. Mustafa Malik remarked that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s affection for Pakistan is an honor, and that the government, people, and defense institutions deserve congratulations. Anila Ayaz Chaudhry emphasized that the pact sends a message to the entire Muslim world—that the protection of Haramain is the collective responsibility of the Ummah, and Pakistan’s armed forces have made the nation proud through this role.

This heartfelt bond has kept both brotherly countries close for decades, and the new defense pact strengthens this further. Gilgit-Baltistan President Dalfraz Khan added that the agreement would undoubtedly take bilateral ties to new heights of stability.

The leaders also paid rich tribute to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their roles in achieving this historic milestone.
