ISLAMABAD: An open court was held at the central secretariat of Pakistan Muslim League (Q). According to details, practical steps are being taken in line with the vision of Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Senior Vice President of the party and Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, to address the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis and the general public. In this regard, the open court was organized to ensure the immediate resolution of problems faced by overseas Pakistanis and citizens.
Among those present on the occasion were Farukh Khan, Member of the National Assembly; Atif Mahmood Mughal, In-charge Public Complaint Forum PML-Q; Dr. Rahim Awan, Member of NADRA; Malik Kamran Munir, Central Deputy Information Secretary; Amna Saleem, former Member of the National Assembly; Chaudhry Yaseen, Chairman Labour Union; Fauzia Naz; and Sherbaz Khan Magsi, Director at the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis. A large number of citizens also attended the event.
Atif Mahmood Mughal, In-charge Public Complaint Forum, listened carefully to the problems, suggestions, and concerns of the participants and initiated action with the relevant departments for their resolution. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Government of Pakistan is committed to safeguarding the interests of overseas Pakistanis and that every possible step is being taken to resolve public issues on a priority basis.
MNA Farukh Khan said that resolving the issues faced by the public is their top priority and that organizing such open courts is a commendable initiative. Atif Mahmood Mughal further stated that the event was arranged to ensure prompt and effective resolution of public problems so that citizens can receive timely justice.
Malik Kamran Munir, Central Deputy Information Secretary, said that holding an open court to address the difficulties faced by overseas Pakistanis and citizens is a positive step. He added that Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain is taking several historic initiatives, which make the people of Pakistan and overseas Pakistanis proud.
The participants appreciated the organization of the open court at the Pakistan Muslim League Secretariat and termed it a people-friendly initiative, expressing hope that such practical steps for resolving public issues will continue in the future.
