ISLAMABAD, May 29 (APP/DNA):Pakistani Ambassador to Tajikistan Saeed Sarwar said on Thursday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Tajikistan will open new avenues of diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Talking to PTV in an exclusive interview, the ambassador said that the prime minister will participate in an international conference on glacier preservation, where he will present Pakistan’s viewpoint on climate challenges.
On the sidelines of the event, PM Shehbaz is also scheduled to meet the top leadership of Tajikistan, he added.
The discussions will cover regional developments, the recent Pakistan-India tensions, and efforts to strengthen trade and bilateral relations, he further added.
The ambassador said that the prime minister will thank Tajik leaders for their continued support and discuss ways to expand economic ties and strategic cooperation.
