Tashkent, JUL 30: Poland have knocked out Pakistan out of the Volleyball U-19 Championship in Tashkent on Wednesday. According to details, the Green Shirts got drubbed at the hands of Poland in the pre-quarter final. Poland have clinched victory with a margin of 3-2 to topple Pakistan.
In a contentious conclusion to the match, the manager of the Pakistan team formally requested the FIVB Control Committee to review the final point using available video footage and computer analysis.
Upon conducting the review, a member of the Committee returned to inform the manager that a foul had indeed been committed by the Polish side.
An apology was extended; however, it was stated that the decision could not be overturned under the prevailing regulations.
Earlier, Argentina have crushed Pakistan in their final group match on Monday.
