ISLAMABAD: The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Pakistan on April 26-27, 2025. The visit is being seen as a significant step in further strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
This high-level engagement comes as a follow-up to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Azerbaijan, during which both sides expressed a strong commitment to deepening cooperation in key areas including trade, energy, defence, and regional connectivity.
The upcoming visit will include meetings with top Pakistani leadership, where discussions are expected to focus on enhancing strategic collaboration and exploring new avenues of mutual interest.
Officials from both countries have described the visit as a reflection of the growing trust and partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, built on shared values and mutual respect.
