ISLAMABAD, JUL 27 /DNA/ – The prices of gold in Pakistan continued to increase for the second consecutive day on Saturday.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, bringing it to Rs252,500, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the local market, the price of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold also jumped by Rs857, reaching Rs216,478. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also witnessed an increase and reached Rs198,438.
The international market also saw a rise in gold prices, with the rate per ounce standing at $2,386, after gaining $13 during the day.
Meanwhile, the rate of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,860 per tola.=DNA
