PSL X: Peshawar Zalmi opt to bowl first against Karachi Kings

RAWALPINDI, MAY 17: Peshawar Zalmi decided to field first after winning the toss against Karachi Kings in the 27th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

The showpiece event has resumed after a nine-day hiatus due to Pakistan-India tensions.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will pay a tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces during the match with a musical performance.

According to the marquee league, renowned singers Sahir Ali Bagga and Asrar Shah will deliver electrifying performances to honour the bravery of the country’s armed forces, followed by the fireworks.

The tribute comes in the wake of Pakistan’s armed forces’ response to Indian aggression during the recent unwanted circumstances in the region.

The recent tensions between the two neighbouring countries resulted in the suspension of both the PSL 10 and the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

However, a week after the formal announcement of the ceasefire, the PSL 10 has restarted with the match between Kings and Zalmi at the Rawalpindi stadium.
