PTI leader Barrister Gohar has said that the party hopes that the ECP’s decision on the issue of allocation of reserved seats will be just and fair.

Stressing SIC’s exclusive right to its share of the reserved seats, the PTI leader said that he expects that the issue will be decided upon by tomorrow (Wednesday).

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Gohar called on the electoral body to take notice of the “illegal” Sindh and Punjab Assembly sessions.

The ECP is set to hold a recounting of votes in NA-97 today in response to the request filed by PML-N’s Ali Gohar Baloch.

Baloch had lost to PTI-backed independent candidate Mohammad Saad Ullah by a margin of 2,303 votes in the constituency.

The PML-N candidate had secured 70,311 votes against the independent candidate’s 72,614 votes.
