RAWALPINDI: Punjab Council of the arts concludes singing and Musical Instruments Competition under Talent Hunt Program 2021. In the singing competitions, Mohammad Taha Javed came first; Ghulam Raza and Mohammad Komil came second and third respectively. While in the musical instruments competition, Shahzeb Jackson came first, Mohammad Adnan came second and Sushil Sagar came third.
Naheed Manzoor, Director Waqar Ahmed distributed prizes among the children who secured positions in music. World renowned Singer Babar Niazi, Raees Ahmed and Prof. Shahbaz Ali performed the duties of judges in the Talent Hit program. Addressing the function, Naheed Manzoor said that Arts Council has always strived to nurture talent.
Talent Hunt Program shows the love of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar for art and culture. Usman Bazdar is keen to nurture artists and new talent in the province. Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed said that the hidden talents of the children have come to light through the competitions. Our young generation is very creative.
I am very happy to see youngsters are singing old classical songs in the competition. The future of classical singing in Pakistan is still bright Hundreds of students from schools, colleges and universities participated.
