ATTOCK: Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, has said that providing quality healthcare facilities to the people is a top priority. For this purpose, a Blood Bank and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Free Dialysis Centre are being established in Tehsil Fateh Jang, which will be completed soon. These projects will help save precious lives in emergencies and provide free modern treatment to kidney patients.
The Governor expressed these views while addressing a large public gathering at village Sadqal (Tehsil Fateh Jang), organized by the President of PPP Tehsil Fateh Jang, Sardar Zaheer Khan. On this occasion, local PPP leaders including Malik Amanat Rawal, Malik Riyasat Sudrial, Sardar Ahsan Ali Khan, Sardar Muhammad Ali Khan, and others were also present.
He said that from Rawalpindi to Jand, the absence of a blood bank often causes the loss of precious lives in accidents and emergencies. Keeping this in mind, a Blood Bank and a Free Kidney Centre are being set up, for which funds will be provided directly by the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari. He added that these people-friendly projects will ensure free medical treatment for all citizens.
Highlighting his past efforts, the Governor said that he has provided the people of Fateh Jang and Hasan Abdal with better transport facilities, and under his initiative, an electric bus service has been launched through the CDA.
Governor Punjab further said that Allah Almighty has blessed him with the highest office in Punjab, and he will continue to use this position to raise the voice for the people and resolve their issues. He said the Pakistan Peoples Party has always been the representative of the poor, and the mission of the party is to protect their rights and continue the struggle for their welfare. He emphasized that power and office are a test from Allah, and he would ensure that his actions never bring embarrassment to the people of his constituency.
Later, Governor Punjab visited different areas of Fateh Jang, offered prayers for the departed souls of the area, and held an open kutchehry (public court) at the PPP Tehsil Secretariat, where he listened to the problems of the people. On this occasion, District President PPP Attock, Sardar Ashar Hayat Khan, Sardar Zulfiqar Hayat Khan, Sardar Zaheer Afzal Khan, Malik Riyasat Sudrial, Malik Amanat Khan Rawal, Sardar Ahsan Ali Khan, Sardar Muhammad Ali Khan, and other local leaders were also present.
