ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (DNA): Weather turned cold after rain in several
cities, heralding the winter season.
The cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Mandi
Bahadduddin, received the rain. Rain coupled with a hailstorm hit
Pasrur, causing severe damage to crops.
In Karak, rain coupled with a hailstorm turned the weather cold.
All northern areas received a heavy snowfall and blanketed the mountains
with snow. As a result, highway was closed for traffic.
In Nowshera, four of a family were killed when the roof of their mud
house collapsed.
