ISLAMABAD, Jul 18 (DNA):Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs and Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah Thursday said the previous government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was responsible for the current economic crisis.Talking to a private news channel, he said that the economic measures taken by the incumbent government are yielding positive results, adding, that the situation will further improve in the coming months and inflation will be reduced.
Talking about banning PTI, he said the federal cabinet will finally approve the declaration on whether to move a reference to the Supreme Court seeking a ban on PTI or not, adding, that the government will take any decision under the law and constitutional rules.
He said we respect the judiciary wholeheartedly and we have the legal right to appeal against the decision and the government is going to file the review petition.
The government would not confuse this constitutional issue with politics, he added.
To another question, he criticized that initially government had offered peaceful dialogue with PTI but they repeatedly refused, adding, that Khan neither believes in the democratic process nor his political agenda only stood for ruining Pakistani society.
