RAWALPINDI, Nov 11 (APP/DNA):The District Health Authority Rawalpindi has released its daily dengue prevention brief showing 10 new cases during the last 24 hours.According to the report, a total of 22,563 patients have been screened in Rawalpindi district’s hospitals, resulting in 1,498 confirmed cases of which 25 confirmed cases currently admitted. This year no deaths have been recorded.
Vector surveillance teams have checked 6,435,995 houses, identifying 210,336 positive houses, and 1,871,987 spots with 28,828 positive, leading to the detection of 239,164 total larvae.
Punitive actions against larva detection and dengue SOPs violation include 4,826 FIRs, 1,937 sealings, 3,730 challans and fines of Rs.11,424,007.
