ISLAMABAD” In a big relief for the PTI the apex court has accepted Sunni Ittehad Council plea for the reserved seats. The SC also suspended the Peshawar High Court verdict in which the court had denied reserved seats to the PTI or Sunni Council.
The court also suspended the the Election Commission decision in which the ECP had distributed reserved seats among various political parties.
The court asked the Attorney General which constitutional provision allowed the Election Commission of Pakistan to allot reserved seats to other parties.
The court observed it is not fair to allot seats of a particular party to another party.
