Russian ambassador pays farewell call

ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Danila Ganich paid a farewell call on the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister appreciated the valuable contribution of the Ambassador towards further strengthening bilateral ties. The Prime Minister wished the Ambassador well for his next assignment and hoped that he would always remain Pakistan’s friend.
Discussing bilateral relations, the Prime Minister emphasized that Russia, a key player in the region and internationally, remains an important partner of Pakistan. The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction at the steady growth of bilateral ties and reiterated the need to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation. The Prime Minister said that connectivity and energy are key sectors to develop collaboration which will benefit our people as well as the region.
Prime Minister also appreciated cooperation between the two countries at international fora.
