ISLAMABAD: Shahera Shahid has been appointed Secretary Information and Broadcasting. The notification has been issued in this regard.
Ms Shahera is a Grade 22 officer of the Information Group and currently was awaiting posting.
She has also served as the Information Secretary incharge before.
Ms. Shahera has also served as the Principle Information Officer. Ms Shahera is a respected figure among the media fraternity because of her positive and media friendly approach.
It is expected that during her tenure issues facing especially the print industry shall be resolved on priority basis.
