GUJRAT, Nov 15 (APP/DNA):A smart farmer gGathering was held in Village Bhalesranwala as part of the Grow More Wheat Campaign 2025-27, aimed at promoting modern farming techniques and increasing wheat production. The event featured agriculture experts who briefed local farmers on advanced cultivation practices, seed selection, and effective fertilizer management.
Dr. Haroon Hamid, Assistant Professor at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, emphasized the importance of adopting climate-resilient farming methods to enhance crop yields. Dr. Ali Asad Yousaf, Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension) Kharian, encouraged farmers to follow government-recommended guidelines for timely sowing and efficient crop management to ensure optimal harvests.
A large number of farmers attended the gathering and expressed strong interest in implementing the techniques shared by the experts. This event is part of the ongoing efforts to improve wheat productivity in the region and support farmers in achieving better crop outcomes.
