Special Students of DGSE Celebrate Marka-e-Haq and Independence Day with Road Show/Walk

ISLAMABAD, AUG 18 (DNA):The Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), under the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, successfully organized a Road Show/Walk today to celebrate Marka-e-Haq and Pakistan’s Independence Day with the participation of special students.

The walk commenced from the National Library & Resource Centre, F-7 Markaz, and concluded at Jinnah Super Market, F-7, Islamabad. The event was attended by a large number of special students, teachers, civil society members, officials from different ministries, NGOs, INGOs and dignitaries from different walks of life.

On this occasion, DG Special Education, Capt. (Retd.) Asif Iqbal Asif expressed that the children with disabilities stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pakistan Army, who achieved a historic victory over India in the Marka-e-Haq Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. He further stated that these children also expressed their solidarity with the flood victims of Buner and Swat (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), assuring them that they are not alone in this time of trial.

The special students showcased their resilience, determination, and spirit, proving that they are not less than others and have the potential to excel in every field of life. Their active participation in the walk was a testament to their strength and commitment towards the prosperity and unity of Pakistan.
