PPP KP Senate committee meeting held
Islamabad, 27 March 2024: A meeting of the committee formed by Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took place headed by PPP leader Ms. Faryal Talpur. Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Shuja Khan and Faisal Karim Kundi attended the meeting.
Information Secretary PPP, Faisal Karim Kundi said that Fida Muhammad Khan and Qaizar Khan Miankhel have withdrawn from the Senate elections for the sake of party’s interests on the directions of the PPP leadership. Fida Muhammad Khan was the Party’s candidate for the general seat and Qaizar Khan Miankhel for the technocrat seat. Faisal Karim Kandi said that according to the decision of the party leadership, Talha Mahmood will be the candidate for the general seat in the Senate while Rubina Khalid will be the candidate for the seat for women.
