Third ‘Made in Pakistan’ Exhibition in Dhaka Welcomed by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan

“Need to promote Pakistani products globally,” says Khurshid Barlas

KARACHI, AUG 28 (DNA): Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, has termed the upcoming third “Made in Pakistan Exhibition and Business Conference” in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as a highly commendable initiative for strengthening trade and diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Speaking during a meeting with Muhammad Khurshid Barlas, Founding Chairman of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry (PAEI), Rana Mashhood announced that visa requirements for diplomatic and official passport holders between Pakistan and Bangladesh will soon be eliminated, while visa procedures for ordinary citizens have already been eased.

The meeting was held at the Chairman’s office where Khurshid Barlas formally invited him to the event scheduled to take place from September 23 to 27, 2025, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka.

The five-day exhibition will showcase a wide range of Pakistani products across various sectors, including:

  • Textile and Fashion, Food and Beverages, Electronics and Home Appliances, Kitchenware and Consumer Goods, Footwear and Furniture, Jewelry and Ornaments, Marble, Glass, and Handicrafts, Sports Goods, Tourism and Hospitality, Machinery, HVACR, Paints, Chemicals, Sanitary Ware and Business and Professional Services.

Rana Mashhood praised the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry for its efforts to promote Pakistani entrepreneurship abroad and confirmed that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme will participate in the event. He said the program will set up a dedicated booth to raise awareness among Bangladeshi and Pakistani youth about the incentives, business loans, and facilities offered under the initiative.

He further emphasized the role of such exhibitions in strengthening economic ties and providing international exposure to local industries. “There is strong demand for Pakistani products in Bangladesh, and this exhibition offers a valuable platform to expand that market,” he said. “We fully support all efforts that promote trade, entrepreneurship, and bilateral cooperation.”

On this occasion, Khurshid Barlas also presented a shield to Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan as a token of appreciation.
