Traffic plan finalized for PSL match at Gaddafi Stadium: CTO

LAHORE, Apr 21: City Traffic Police(CTP) Lahore have finalized comprehensive traffic arrangements for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators to be played at Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.

According to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Muhammad Waqas Nazir,around 600 traffic wardens will be deployed to ensure smooth flow of traffic during the match.


Strict action will be taken against wrong parking around the stadium, while forklifts and breakdown vehicles will remain on standby at all times.


He said that no road would be permanently closed and all major arteries,including Mall Road,Jail Road and Canal Road, would remain open for traffic.


Traffic on Ferozepur Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg will also continue as usual.
The CTO assured that citizens would not face any major inconvenience,adding that real-time updates would be provided through the Rasta App and Rasta FM 88.6 to keep commuters informed.
