RAWALPINDI, JUN 8: Eid-ul-Azha was marked not with festivity at home, but with unwavering resolve on the frontlines at the Line of Control (LoC). Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV at the LoC, one of the officers said: “We remain alive and alert on every front, so our loved ones can sleep in peace.”
“There is something truly different about this Eid. The nation’s triumph over a deceitful and cowardly enemy has doubled our joy,” said a soldier.
The troops said: “Though many Eids have passed in service, this Eid carries exceptional meaning. On May 6, when the enemy launched an attack on civilian areas, the Pakistan Army delivered a powerful and immediate response.”
“Three to four enemy posts, along with their surveillance systems and several drones, were destroyed,” said Colonel Waqar.
“The armed forces of Pakistan do not fear death; they cherish martyrdom,” the troops added.
