WASHINGTON, JUN 29: United States President Donald Trump has indicated that additional nations may soon join the Abraham Accords, the normalisation agreements between Israel and several Arab states.
In an interview broadcast on Sunday by Fox News, Trump said that Iran currently had no desire to resume its nuclear programme, which was targeted by US strikes on June 21.
When asked by Fox News presenter whether the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities had increased the likelihood of further states joining the Accords, Trump replied, “Yes. We already have some very good countries in there, and I believe we will begin adding more, because Iran was the main problem.”
