TTP key leader killed in Afghanistan's Kunar region

KABUL, JUN 19: Another important leader of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Abdul Manan alias Hakeemullah, was killed in Afghanistan’s Kunar region.

Due to the infighting and chaos of the outlawed TTP in Afghanistan, important commanders of the TTP are being mysteriously killed day by day. There was an uproar in TTP circles when Abdul Manan alias Hakeemullah, a member of TTP Shura Malakand, was killed in Asadabad district, Kannada, Afghanistan.

Terrorist Abdul Manan was involved in various terrorist activities including target killing, landmine blasts, firing at check posts, and extortion in Bajaur, and was believed to be the direct hand of TTP leader Azmatullah Mehsud.

It is pertinent to note that the death of the main terrorist leader of TTP in Afghanistan is clear proof of the presence of TTP in Afghanistan.
