Wildlife officials arrest illegal hunters, impose Rs. 280,000 in fines

ATTOCK, JAN 8 /DNA/ – Wildlife department Led by, ACWR Attock Shahzaib Khurshid, along with his dedicated team, took decisive action against wildlife offenders. During a night operation, individuals involved in the illegal hunting of partridges were arrested by Senior Wildlife Rangers Attock and Hazro Azam Shah and his team, and the case was compounded with a fine of Rs. 200,000.

Additionally, in Tehsil Fateh Jang, a fine of Rs. 80,000 was imposed for the illegal hunting of partridges and for uploading hunting videos on social media. The case was sorted out by Senior Wildlife Rangers Fateh Jang Attia Nosheen along his team.

Total compensation realized: Rs. 280,000.

These actions reflect the department’s zero-tolerance policy towards wildlife crimes and its strong commitment to the protection and conservation of wildlife.
